Asik Pasha Mausoleum

Located in Fatih, İstanbul, the mausoleum, is a part of Asik Pasha Religious and Social Complex. It was built in the 15th century. Asik Pasha Complex was built for Sheikh Ahmet Effendi, who was called as Dervish Ahmet or Asik Pashazade by an earlier palace aga, Hüseyin son of Abdullah.

Sheikh Ahmed Effendi, who is called Asik Pashazade, is an Ottoman historian and wrote the famous “Asik Pashazade History”. He was also known by this name as being a part of Asik Pasha family.
